Abstract:
W-Ni-Fe tungsten high density alloys with Me(Co,RE) were fabricated by high energy ball milling mechanical alloying, combined mould compact and lower temperature sintering technique. The relative density of alloys samples were tested by the Draining Water Law of Archimedes and its hardness was tested by a HR-150A Rockwell hardness tester. The granularities and appearances of three kinds of samples after different sintering process have been analyzed by XRD,SEM and EDX.The results show that the sintering temperature of alloys decreased because the technique was adopted to prepare nanograin prealloyed powders by high energy ball milling. The sintering technology of W-Ni -Fe tungsten high density alloys which were fabricated with nanograin prealloyed powders is 1350℃×75 minutes.C as additive element can increase hardness and lower sintering temperature of W-Ni-Fe tungsten heavy alloys.Co as additive element can lower the sintering temperature.Co and RE mixed powders can increase the density of sample, and fine the grains.
