ADI Compact Difference Method for Solving a Class of Linear Evolution Equation

  • 摘要: 文章给出求解一类线性发展方程的交替方向紧致差分格式并运用能量法证明它是无条件稳定的.Richardson外推法使时间方向上有四阶精度,数值结果表明新算法的高精度和有效性.

     

    Abstract: In this paper,we derive a new alternating direction implicit(ADI) compact finite difference scheme for solving a kind of linear evolution equation.It is shown through energy analysis method that the new difference scheme is unconditionally stable.Richardson extrapolation is applied to achieve fourth-order accuracy in temporal dimensions.Numerical experiments are conducted to illustrate high accuracy and efficiency of the new algorithm.
