Abstract:
The characteristic size and flight mode were regarded of the pigeon as the main target of studying and simulation goal of developing flapping-wing micro aerial vehicle(MAV).The three-dimension unsteady vortex-lattice method was used to calculate the aerodynamic performance of flapping-wing MAV simulating pigeons,and the effect of the parameters analyzed was,such as the angle of attack,the angle of flapping,flying speed,flapping frequency and the advance ratio.The study is useful to the design of the flapping wing MAV.
