Abstract:
A novel gold nanoparticles(GNPs)and carbon nanotubes(CNTs)hybrid nanocomposite modified glassy carbon electrode(GNPs/CNTs/GCE)was prepared by using potential step method in the solution containing the carboxylated CNTs and HAuCl
4.The modified electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry(CV),electrochemical impedance spectra(EIS)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The electrochemical oxidation behavior of Bisphenol A(BPA)on the modified electrode was investigated. The results showed that the Au/CNTs/GCE has a strong electrocatalytic action on BPA in phosphate buffer solution(PBS)of pH 7.0 and that BPA exhibited a significant oxidation peak at 0.496 V.The experimental parameters, which influence the oxidation current of bisphenol A,such as the amount of MWNT and GNPs on the GCE surface, the pH of the supporting electrolyte, and scan rate, were optimized.Under the optimal conditions,a linear response of bisphenol A was obtained over the range from 2.0×10
