一种简便评估准晶材料断裂韧性的方法

A simple method for evaluating the fracture toughness of Al-Cu-Fe-B quasicrystal

  • 摘要: 本文介绍了一种简单评估准晶材料Al59Cu25.5Fe12.5B3的断裂韧性的方法.根据维氏(Vickers)压痕试验法测量的显微硬度和利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)测定压痕的径向裂纹尺寸,计算出断裂韧性为1.4MPam-1/2.该结果与报道的结果基本一致.

     

    Abstract: A simple method,which is used to test the fracture toughness for Al59Cu25.5Fe12.5B3 quasicrystals,was introduced.According to the Vickers microhardness and radial crack size tested by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),the fracture toughness of this quasicrystal is evaluated as 1.34 MPam-1/2.The results are basically consistent with those reported in other literatures.
