一种简便评估准晶材料断裂韧性的方法

A simple method for evaluating the fracture toughness of Al-Cu-Fe-B quasicrystal

摘要: 本文介绍了一种简单评估准晶材料Al₅₉Cu_25.5Fe_12.5B₃的断裂韧性的方法.根据维氏(Vickers)压痕试验法测量的显微硬度和利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)测定压痕的径向裂纹尺寸,计算出断裂韧性为1.4MPam^-1/2.该结果与报道的结果基本一致.

Abstract: A simple method,which is used to test the fracture toughness for Al₅₉Cu_25.5Fe_12.5B₃ quasicrystals,was introduced.According to the Vickers microhardness and radial crack size tested by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),the fracture toughness of this quasicrystal is evaluated as 1.34 MPam^-1/2.The results are basically consistent with those reported in other literatures.
