Analysis and Comparison of Simulation of Three Typical Routing Protocols in Ad-Hoc networks

  • 摘要: 通过研究Ad-Hoc网络中的DSDV、DSR和AODV3种典型路由协议,以节点数目、节点移动速度、数据源发包频率为变量,采用网络模拟仿真软件NS-2对这3种协议在不同场景下进行了仿真模拟,分析这些参数变化对Ad-Hoc丢包率、路由消耗、网络端到端时延和分组投递率的影响,最终得出了3种协议各自的性能差异,总结出了它们最适合的应用场景。

     

    Abstract: This paper mainly compares and researches three significant routing protocols for Ad-Hoc network i. e. DSDV, DSR and AODV. It analyzes these protocols in terms of Ad-Hoc packet loss rate, routing consumption, end-to-end delay, packet delivery ratio through simulations performed in Network Simulator(NS-2) for varying network conditions like the number of nodes, maximum speed of mobile host and the sending frequency of data source. Finally, it draws the performance differences of three protocols, and sums up the scenarios for which they are best suited.
