Recovery of 2D rigid motion and structure from 1D orthographically projected optical flow

  • 摘要: 研究从一维正投影光流场恢复二维刚体运动和结构.证明利用一维正投影光流场中最少个光流点可以完全确定刚体的二维旋转运动参数,一般情况下有2个解.尽管不能确定刚体的二维平移运动参数,但利用一维正投影光流场可以完全确定二维刚体的结构.文中给出了具体算例.

     

    Abstract: In this paper, we present a method of the recovery of the 2D rigid motion and structure from a 1D orthographically projected optical flow field. The geometric model and mathematic model of a moving rigid object are set up. It is proved that the 2D rotation parameters can be determined at least by using three optical flow points. In general, there are two groups of rotation parameters. Although the translation parameters are not obtained completely, the 2-D structure of the rigid object can be determined uniquely. A computing example is given.
