Smooth Connections between Curves and Surfaces Cubic TC-Bézier and Cubic H-Bézier

  • 摘要: 文章研究了带两个形状参数的三次TC-Bézier曲线曲面与三次H-Bézier曲线曲面的光滑拼接问题.在对这两种曲线的基函数、端点性质和形状分析的基础上,给出了TC-Bézier与H-Bézier曲线曲面G1光滑拼接的条件,以及特定情况下TC-Bézier与H-Bézier曲线G2光滑拼接的条件.实例表明,通过合理选择参数来调整曲线曲面的形状,可以把带形状参数TC-Bézier曲线曲面与H-Bézier曲线曲面的拼接技术应用于复杂曲线曲面工程造型中.

     

    Abstract: This paper studies the technique of smooth connections between cubic TC-Bézier curves and surfaces with two shape parameters and cubic H-Bézier curves and surfaces.Based on a study of their basis functions,endpoint properties and shape analysis,we present G1 continuity connection conditions between TC-Bézier and H-Bézier curves and surfaces,as well as G2 continuity connection condition between TC-Bézier and H-Bézier curves at a special case.Experimental examples show that smooth connections between the curves and surfaces can be effectively applied in complicated curve and surface design by adjusting the shapes of the curves and surfaces through selecting parameters reasonably.
