Identification of Image Characters for Multi-pass Welding Seam Based on Vision Sensing

  • 摘要: 建立了基于条形激光的CCD视觉传感多层多道焊缝自动检测系统.通过对多道焊缝激光条纹图像特征的分析,提出了适用于非规则坡口的焊缝图形处理方法.经过阈值处理、图像去噪、图像中心线提取以及直线拟合、特征点的识别等处理流程,可自动识别多层多道焊缝的特征点.

     

    Abstract: An efficient automatic detection system for multi-pass welding seam profile parameters based on band laser CCD(charge-coupled device) visual sensor is presented.By analyzing the characteristics of the image of multi-pass weld laser stripes,an image processing approach to characterize irregular welding groove is proposed,which can be used to identify the characteristics of multi-pass welding seam.The developed image processing procedures is threshold processing,image denoising,image centerline extraction,straight-line fitting and the feature point identifying.The proposed detecting system can provide the accurate signal for seam tracking,which is tremendously significant to improve the welding quality and automatization for thick plates welding.
