Design of Pure Phase Diffractive Optical Elements Based on Particle Swarm Optimization

摘要: 通过将衍射光学元件的设计视为约束优化问题,以Dammann光栅为例,提出了一种采用自适应粒子群算法设计衍射光学元件的方法。该方法不仅保证了算法的全局收敛,而且提高了算法的收敛速度和解的质量;通过引入罚函数,较好地平衡了衍射效率和光强均匀性之间的关系,在保证衍射效率的情况下,提高了各衍射级次光强分布的均匀性。设计了分束比为15的Dammann光栅。仿真结果显示,该方法可以在给定期望衍射效率的情况下获得较快的收敛速度,光强均匀性可以达到10-5数量级。Abstract: In this paper,a constrained optimization method is adopted to design diffractive optical elements.As an example,a Dammann gratings design method with adaptive particle swarm optimization is proposed.The algorithm could not only guarantee convergence to global optimum,but also improve convergence rate and the solution quanlity.And in the algorithm,a penalty function is introduced,which can balance the relation between the high uniformity and the diffraction efficiency.A dammann gratings with 15 uniform spots are designed by using the proposed algorithm,the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain reasonable convergence speed and reasonable uniformity with given an expected diffraction efficiency,and the intensity uniformity can reached 10-5order.
