Abstract: This paper discusses the concept of a six-vector Riemann-Silberstein photon wave function,as well as its forms,physical meanings and characteristics in coordinate representation and momentum representation, respectively.Dealing with the problems of microscopic interaction between light and matter,we made a primary investigation on the application of Riemann-Silberstein photon wave function in studying of near-field optical theory.
