Orientation Kinetics and Steady-Field Magnetization Relaxation for Ferrofluids of NI Model

  • 摘要: 在磁性液体无相互作用模型(NI)基础上,利用颗粒取向动力学方法研究恒磁场下磁性液体磁化弛豫的过程,得出了颗粒取向分布函数及磁化函数的数值计算公式。对比Shliomis提出的唯像磁化方程,改进的Galerkin法的数值计算结果表明时间项系数为磁场的函数,并指出在某个特定磁场范围内,唯像公式也能很好地描述磁性液体的恒场磁化弛豫。

     

    Abstract: On the basis of NI model of ferrofluids without interaction,the relaxation of steady-field magnetization is researched by means of orientation kinetics.The numerical calculation formula of orientation distribution function and the magnetization function are obtained.Compared with the phenomenological magnetization function proposed by Shliomis,numerical calculation with advanced Galerkin method shows that the coefficient of time term is the function of magnetic field,and manifests that phenomenological formula describes the steady-field magnetization relaxation of ferrofluids as well in a certain range of field strength.
