Abstract: Preparation and physicochemical propreties of red surface decorative ceramic ink for jet-print forming have been investigated in this paper.This red ink containing ceramic decorative components of pigments,prepared by sol-gel method(it has not been widely used in conventional ceramics decoration,such as glazed tile and dinner set) with the quality standard of continuous ink-jet printing as its quality standard.The test result shows that our ink conforms to the standards of its physicochemical properties,such as conductance,surface tension,viscosity and so on.The author studies the influence of its technological process factor,such as scattering reagent,thickening,pH value and solid volume fraction.When the ceramic decorative ink is printed on ceramics,colour is dark green.But the colour is different after being calcined.Because components react to form red ink pigment.
