Abstract:
In order to improve students’ enthusiasm for self-directed learning, cultivate their engineering awareness, and enhance their engineering practice ability, a research on the reform of blended case teaching based on the OBE concept has been carried out. Based on the OBE concept, the teaching design was carried out to explore the law of ideological and political teaching. The online and offline hybrid case teaching of “Principles and Structures of Aircraft Engines” course was developed, while diversified assessment methods to evaluate the teaching quality were adopted. At the same time, the reform effect was evaluated by questionnaire method with the students as the object. The results of reform and practical exploration show that the online and offline hybrid case teaching mode improves teaching quality, stimulates students' enthusiasm for self-directed learning, cultivates their engineering awareness, enhances their engineering practice ability, and lays a solid theoretical foundation for students' future careers in the aviation industry.
