Abstract:
A self-developed 320 kV cone-beam industrial CT imaging system was designed with laboratory equipment. Firstly, a six-axis mechanical scanning platform based on motion control card was designed, and the hardware of the cone-beam CT imaging system was assembled, integrating a 320 kV X-ray machine and a flat panel detector. Secondly, using the dynamic link library of the flat panel detector and motion control card, softwares for cone beam CT projection data acquisition and reconstruction were developed. The FDK algorithm was independently developed and GPU acceleration of the FDK algorithm were implemented based on the CUDA architecture. Finally, a damper was utilized to test the cone-beam CT imaging system. The results show that the entire system operats stably and is capable of producing high-quality CT reconstruction images, which is consistent with the reconstruction effect of VG Studio MAX 3.4 software.
