基于COMSOL的表面微裂纹超声非线性混频检测研究

Research of Surface Micro-cracks Detection by Ultrasonic Nonlinear Mix-frequency Method Based on COMSOL

  • 摘要: 为实现对表面微裂纹的超声检测,基于COMSOL构建含有表面微裂纹的超声表面波非线性响应几何模型,分析表面波混频频率的选择对调制效应的作用,研究不同裂纹长度、宽度以及传播距离对边频分量的影响,提出一种基于二次谐波分量和边频分量的表面微裂纹检测方法。结果表明:二次谐波分量可用于判断微裂纹是否存在,归一化边频分量能够对微裂纹进行定位和定量分析;微裂纹长度与边频分量之和呈现负相关关系,传播距离与边频分量之和呈现出线性负相关关系,其线性拟合曲线的相关性系数为0.963。

     

    Abstract: In order to achieve the ultrasonic detection of surface micro-cracks, a geometric model of surface acoustic waves with nonlinear responses containing surface micro-cracks was constructed based on COMSOL. The effect of the selection of surface wave mixing frequency on modulation was analyzed, and the influence of different crack lengths, widths, and propagation distances on the sideband components were studied. A surface micro-crack detection method was proposed based on the second harmonic and sideband components. The results show that the second harmonic component can be used to determine the presence of micro-cracks, and the normalized sideband component can locate and quantitatively analyze those micro-cracks. A negative correlation is observed between the sum of crack length and sideband component, while a linear negative correlation is observed between propagation distance and the sum of sideband component, with a correlation coefficient of 0.963 for the linear fitting curve.
