Abstract:
Combined with the characteristics of polymer physics and the requirements of engineering education professional certification, the current situation and problems of the assessment of polymer physics were elaborated. The process assessment was introduced into the teaching process of polymer physics, which brought the assessment mechanism combining summative assessment and process assessment. Based on the concept of engineering education professional certification, the “4+1” multiple assessment system was established in this paper. The new assessment system emphasizes the process assessment and focuses on cultivating students’ innovative consciousness and engineering literacy. Thus, this assessment system can effectively improve students’ ability to solve practical problems to meet the requirements of the current society for the polymer materials and engineering students.
