Abstract: There are some problems for the hardware courses of software engineering major, such as there exist contents overlap between courses and the contents can not meet the requirement of major. Promoted by engineering education certification application, two main hardware courses of our school are reformed, they are “Digital Logic” and “Computer Architecture and Organization”. The contents are integrated by focus on complicated problem of software engineering. Teaching methods are improved based on the student-centered idea. The objective of course, examination methods and content are adjusted by the outcome-oriented idea of engineering education. The evaluation way aims at continuous improvement of teaching quality. The objectives of the reformation include enhancing the correlation between courses, saving the teaching time, improving teaching quality. Let students meet the requirement of engineering education certification. Cultivating software talents for our country with both ability and political integrity by merging ideological and political education.
