Characteristics Research for Acoustic Emission Testing Signal of Different Damage of GFRP

  • 摘要: 在实际的玻璃纤维增强塑料(GFRP)制备和使用过程中,已经存在的缺陷对GFRP的使用会产生较大的影响。对预置纤维断裂和弱粘接缺陷的GFRP进行拉伸实验,并利用声发射技术实时监测其破坏过程,获得复合材料拉伸损伤的力学性能、破坏特性和声发射响应行为。研究表明:GFRP试件加载过程中载荷与拉伸位移曲线呈非线性关系,加载破坏过程中伴随着基体开裂、纤维断裂、分层等损伤模式。试件的失效载荷因预置缺陷类型不同而不同,不同预置缺陷下声发射信号的频率成分以及含量都有所不同。

     

    Abstract: Existing defects has an important influence in use of GFRP during preparation and use of GFRP. In order to achieve the mechanical properties of stretching damage, failure characteristics and acoustic emission(AE) response behavior of glass fiber composites with fiber pre-broken and weak bonding, stretching tests and real-time AE monitoring of glass fiber composites were conducted. Experimental results showed that the relationship between load and displacement of glass fiber composites was non-linear during the loading process. Damage model such as matrix cracking and fiber fracture and bending could be occurred in the process of damage and failure. The composition and content of signal frequency of AE is also different because of difference of preset defect.
