Abstract:
In order to study the bioavailability of discharged diapers,
Plerotus ostreatus was cultured in the traditional mushroom cultivation substrate with different amount of disposable diapers substituting for cottonseed hull. The bioavailable performance of diaper mixed substrate by
Plerotus ostreatus was explored and the results showed that appropriate diaper addition has significant effects on the substrate reduction, decreasing 47.29% of the original substrate weight and 66.06% of the holocellulose. In addition, the biological efficiency was up to 93.90%. As such, diapers can not only promote degradation of substrate by mushroom but also increase the biological efficiency of mushroom, which is beneficial for the safe disposal of disposable diapers.
