Abstract:
Dacromet coating have been widely used in the field of metal corrosion for their excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, no hydrogen embrittlement and pollution-free production process. However, traditional Dacromet coating are still facing some urgent problem need to be solved, such as Cr
6+ pollution, poor acid and alkali resistance, low resistance to scratching, highly consumption of energy at curing process and so on. In this paper, firstly, Dacromet coating's characteristics, anticorrosion mechanism and evolution were introduced. Moreover, the research status of non-chromate Dacromet, modified Dacromet, new curing technology etc were also overviewed. These research have shown that good comprehensive performance Dacromet coating can be obtained by using inorganic, organic or their compound to replace the chromic anhydride, doping the nanoparticles (such as SiO
2), matching with organic coating, using the highly heating efficiency curing technology.
