Abstract:
Water-soluble CdS and core/shell CdS/ZnS quantum dots(QDs) were prepared by using 3-mercaptopropionic acid as modifier. The effects of reaction time, pH, temperature on fluorescence emission spectra of CdS/ZnS QDs were discussed. The nanocrystals were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and FTIR. The results showed that the fluorescence intensity of core/shell CdS/ZnS QDs is 2.27 times that of CdS quantum dots, and the maximum emission wavelength had a blue shift, and changed from 562nm to 540nm.
