Abstract:
Due to the large linear expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity of aluminum alloy, the heat input would rapidly flow to the base material during welding, especially in the case of the large heat input, which causes the problem of uneven welding penetration, welding deformation, collapse and so on. Therefore, under the conditions of changing welding parameters, this study researched the relationship between bypass in the pulse TIG peak current, pulse frequency, pulse width ratio and weld width duty ratio, weld residual high, depth of molten by using MIG-TIG hybrid welding test. And the threshold value of parameters are obtained, which provide some reference to achieve efficient control of heat input in welding aluminum alloy.
