Abstract:
Combined with the epoxy grafted waterborne polyurethane(EP-WPU) and silane-modified graphene oxide(MGO) with the reaction of γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (KH550) with oxygen containing groups on the surface of graphene, the emulsion was prepared with good stability and corrosion resistance. The effects of the dosage of epoxy resin on physical property and corrosion protection performance of the film have been investigated, and the corrosion resistance behavior of film was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Results revealed that film obtained excellent physical and dielectric resistance properties with 7% epoxy resin addition. Compared with the original samples, the modified grapheme oxide significantly enhanced the barrier and corrosion protection properties of the coating. Furthermore, the anticorrosion mechanisms of coatings enhanced via MGO with different ratio and the corrosion resistance behavior of coating in immersion process were tentatively proposed, which indicating that modified graphene oxide with 1‰ ratio displayed better.
