Static Strength Analysis of a Two-Dimensional Nozzle Under Complex Loads
-
Abstract
The two-dimensional nozzle profile of aeroengine is complex, and it is also affected by aerodynamic force and high temperature environment during engine operation, resulting in a certain risk of strength failure in some weak links. In this work, the static strength analysis of a turbofan engine’s two-dimensional nozzle was carried out under the condition of complex environmental loads alongside the high temperature, aerodynamic force, gravity and multi-directional composite overload. The results show that the weight reduction optimization design of the two-dimensional nozzle meets the strength requirements; the maximum stress of two-dimensional nozzle will be significantly increased by the influence of engine aerodynamic force, and the maximum stress will appear at the stiffener of the circular to elliptical section. The relevant findings provide an effective reference for the design of the two-dimensional nozzle structure.
