Preparation of Environmental Spectrum of Accelerated Corrosion Test for Aeronautical Metal Materials

    • Corrosion often occurs to aviation equipment because of the influence of service environment during service. In order to evaluate the adaptability of the structural material/coating system to the service environment, the environment spectrum for a simulated accelerated corrosion test should be prepared according to the service environment data and equivalent conversion principle of corrosion damage. The aluminum alloy material for the wing of an airplane and a military airport environment data were chosen as an example. The preparation process and method for the airport parking environment spectrum and the environment spectrum of the accelerated corrosion test for the material were systematically expounded, focusing on the design principles of environment spectrum, the formation of environmental factors, equivalent conversion of environmental factors and its effect strength, and effect law. The environmental spectrum of simulated accelerated corrosion test was obtained, which can be used for the accelerated corrosion test of the aluminum alloy material in labs.
