    Remanufacturing Repair Technology for Aeronautical Components

    • The remanufacturing repair of aeronautical components is a maintenance technology based on reliability and in view of the damage situation and the repair requirement of aeronautical components. It uses advanced materials and manufacturing technology to repair, maintain or remanufacture aeronautical components, so that they can meet the requirement of at least one renovation cycle of service life. This paper summarizes the basic process and thinking of the repair technology for key aeronautical parts. The applicability of some typical repair processes of aeronautical parts is introduced, such as welding, surface engineering, heat treatment and other processes. At last, the development trend and application prospect of repair technology in the future are described. It is considered that reliability evaluation as an important part of repair technology will be more stressed and developed. As for process technology development, more highly automated and intelligent technology and processes will be adopted. And the existing situation of single repair process will be expanded, and composite repair technology will be developed and applied.
