    Element Content Determination of 2024 Aluminum Alloy by Spark Source Atomic Emission Spectrometry

    • The chemical composition of 2024 aluminum alloy was analyzed by type standardization method with a photoelectric direct reading spectrometer. The working curve, the optimal analysis curve and operating conditions were established. And the precision and accuracy of this method were analyzed. The results show that under the optimized experimental conditions, the relative standard deviations(n=10) of the measured values of 8 elements were less than 5.58%. This method was applied to the analysis of 2024 aluminum alloy samples, and the results obtained were in conformity with those found by chemical method. The type standardization working curve by photoelectric direct reading spectrometry has the advantages of high speed, high accuracy and stability, so it can be used in engineering.
