    Experimental Study on the Effect of Ferromagnetic with Different Notch Angles on Magnetic Memory Signal

    • To study the distribution of magnetic memory signal of ferromagnetic component under the static tensile loads, carrying out a tensile test applied load for different notch angles of 20 steel specimen, and detecting Hp(y) value size of leakage magnetic field of component surface. The results showed that with the different notch angles of ferromagnetic component in different deformation stages, the distribution curve of the normal component Hp(y) of the magnetic memory signal exhibits different size of amplitude and nonlinearity, and with the increasing of the component notch angle, Hp(y) amplitude increases as well. Analytic result of the test shows that through characteristics of the distribution curve of magnetic memory can roughly judge the deformation stage of the specimen under the static tensile loads.
