Effect of Titanium Nanometer Polymer on Corrosion Resistance of Coating

    • Based on cross-sectional micro observation, leakage and electrochemical testing, the effect of titanium nanometer polymer on the corrision resistance of coating. The results showed that titanium nano-polymer coating's structure is dense, without corrosive channel, and appended with inhibition effect, so it has excellent corrosion resistance. Traditional paint mainly act as the cathodic protector, and therefore should be put emphasis on its physical properties. Nano-additives can not only optimize the barrier properties of the coating, but also bring some additional advantages, which can be directly tested by advanced equipment, or through indirect methods such as electrochemical test evaluation.
