Finite Element Analysis of Stress-magnetic Effect of Magnetic Memory Testing
-
Abstract
Combined with stress-magnetic coupling model, the finite element analysis was carried out on 20# steel plate specimen with a hole by indirect coupling sequence based on ANSYS. It was concluded that zero point of the normal component and peak values of the tangential component occured to the surface magnetic strength of the plate. With stress increasing, the phenomenon was more obvious. What's more, the gradient values of the normal component and two-dimensional Lissajous figures were studied too, It was concluded that the gradient values of the normal component was much related to stress concentration, and the two-dimensional Lissajous figures have closed zone, the area of the closed zone was not simply linearly related to stress intensity.
