    Effect of Wide Strain Rate/Stress State/Temperature on Mechanical Properties of TA15

    • 摘要: TA15钛合金因其优异的力学性能在航空领域应用广泛,本文对TA15在宽应变率下的力学性能进行研究。从TA15的基本力学性能出发,考虑应力三轴度、应变率及温度等因素对其变形和失效行为的影响,开展合金光滑试样和缺口试样在室温和高温工况下的准静态拉伸、高速拉伸以及动态拉伸试验。结果表明:在不同应力三轴度下,TA15强度和塑性表现出不同变化趋势,且失效应变随应力三轴度的增大而减小;通过准静态/动态拉伸试验,合金表现出应变率强化效应;在高温拉伸试验中,合金表现出较明显的温度软化效应,升温后强度逐渐降低,塑性受温度影响较小。研究结果可为TA15钛合金的本构关系和仿真计算提供依据。

       

      Abstract: TA15 titanium alloy is widely used in the aviation field due to its superior mechanical properties. This study investigates the mechanical properties of TA15 titanium alloy under wide strain rates. By examining the fundamental mechanical properties of TA15 titanium alloy and considering the influence of stress triaxiality, strain rate and temperature on its deformation and failure behavior, this study conducts quasi-static, high-speed tensile and dynamic tensile tests on alloy smooth specimens and notched specimens under both ambient and high temperature conditions. The results demonstrate that the strength and plasticity of TA15 titanium alloy show different changing trends under varing stress states, and the fracture strain decreases with increased stress triaxiality. In the quasi-static/dynamic tensile test, TA15 titanium alloy exhibits a strain rate strengthening effect. In the high-temperature tensile test, TA15 titanium alloy shows obvious temperature softening effect, with a gradual decline in strength upon heating, while its plasticity is relatively unaffected by temperature variations. The findings in this work can provide a basis for the constitutive relationship and simulation calculation of TA15 titanium alloy.
