    Fracture Analysis of Drivepipe Flange for Oil and Gas Extraction

    • 摘要: 油气开采套管用的42CrMo法兰盘在工作过程中发生崩裂。通过宏观观察、断口分析、成分与夹杂物检测、组织结构与晶粒度分析,以及法兰盘齿面三维光学形貌成像等手段,对崩裂原因进行分析。结果表明,齿根部位的脆性夹杂物超标和表面加工质量差是发生整体崩裂的主要原因。通过加强冶金和精加工过程的控制,取得了良好的效果。

       

      Abstract: A drivepipe flange of 42CrMo for oil and gas extraction fractured during service. The fracture reasons were investigated by macroscopic observation, fracture analysis, composition and inclusion examination, microstructure and surface quality analysis. It was found that the 42CrMo flange had excessive brittle inclusions and poor surface quality at the tooth root, leading to the fracture. Accordingly, such measures as improving the control of metallurgical and finishing processes were adopted, and these measures were found to be effective.
