    结晶器铜套腐蚀断裂失效研究

    Corrosion Fracture Failure of Copper Sleeve of Mould

    • 摘要: 随着我国水平连铸工业的快速发展,结晶器铜套关键部件的质量尤其关键,一旦发生断裂失效会产生无法挽回的经济损失。对结晶器铜套出现断裂的问题进行分析,采用扫描电镜、能谱分析对结晶器铜套腐蚀裂纹进行观察、痕量分析,并对比未发生断裂失效样品的化学成分和物理性能。结果表明:铜套失效是由在实际工况中受热应力和循环水中的腐蚀介质引起的应力腐蚀导致,化学成分和物理性能无明显差异;通过分析给出检查循环冷却水的水质、降低水中铁含量、监控pH值、改进铸造工艺、控制化学成分等可行性建议,降低断裂失效风险。

       

      Abstract: With the rapid development of China's horizontal continuous casting industry, the quality of mould copper sleeves has become especially critical. Once fracture occurs to copper sleeves, it will cause heavy economic losses. In this paper, the failure analysis for a mould copper sleeve was carried out. The corrosion cracks of the copper sleeve were observed and traced by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy spectrum analysis. The chemical composition and physical properties of a non-failed sample were compared. The results show that the failure of the copper sleeve is stress corrosion failure, caused by the coeffect of the thermal stress in the actual working conditions and the corrosive media in the circulating water, and there is no significant difference in chemical composition and physical properties. Finally, some suggestions were put forward to prevent such failures, such as controlling the quality of the circulating water, improving casting process, and controlling the chemical composition.
