    Cause Analysis of Surface Bubbles of Spray-formed 7055 Aluminum Samples

    • 摘要: 喷射成形7055铝合金拉伸试验件在进行固溶处理的过程中,不同批次的试验件表面均出现了不同程度的起泡现象。通过对起泡试样表面、截面以及拉伸断口起泡区域处进行宏微观观察,以及对起泡试样进行拉伸性能检测、H含量测试以及金相组织分析,结果表明,7055铝合金在进行固溶热处理后表面发生起泡现象是由于热处理炉内湿度过大,发生高温氧化反应所致。建议对已发生起泡的拉伸试验件,采用机械加工的方法消除起泡。

       

      Abstract: Bubbles appeared on the surface of tensile samples made of spray-formed 7055 aluminum during solution heat treatment. Marco and micro inspection was carried out on the surface and sections of the samples, and also on the fracture surface after tensile test. Furthermore, tensile testing, hydrogen content testing and metallurgical structure analysis were also carried out on the samples with bubbles. The results show that the surface bubbles of the samples formed due to high temperature oxidation by higher humidity in the heat treatment furnace. It is suggested that surface machining should be used to remove the bubbles of the samples.
