Friction and Fracture Analysis of Spring of Reheating Main-stop Valve Actuator

摘要: 电厂再热主汽阀使用一段时间后,其执行机构弹簧多处出现摩擦磨损,部分摩擦位置已经出现裂纹甚至断裂失效。通过显微硬度、金相组织、宏微观分析等手段对失效弹簧进行分析,确定了弹簧发生断裂失效的主要原因。结果表明:使用过程中弹簧处于横置状态,与底部限位钢管接触并发生摩擦磨损,产生硬而脆的摩擦白层,白层组织内含有大量微裂纹,弹簧内切应力的作用促进了裂纹扩展并最终导致弹簧断裂失效。Abstract: The spring in the reheating main-stop valve actuator weared and fractured after serving for a time. The failure cause was analyzed by micro hardness testing, microstructure examination, macro and micro analysis. The results indicate that the contact and friction between the spring and the safety tube resulted in a white layer, which was hard and brittle and had a large number of micro cracks. Under the effect of shear stress, the micro cracks propagated, leading to the failure of the spring.
