    Fracture Failure Analysis of J55 Oil Tube

    • 摘要: 通过对油管断裂处及远离断裂处的金相组织、硬度等检测和对比分析对油管所用材料化学成分分析,并对断口的宏微观断裂特征及裂纹形态分析,确定油管失效模式为应力腐蚀开裂。对油管的加工制造过程和现场服役环境及工作特点进行分析,油管断裂处存在有害组织为其断裂的主要原因。有害组织的产生很可能是油管在生产制造过程中的轧制环节接触了冷流体或是在油管附近进行纵火作业导致的。

       

      Abstract: Microstructure examination, hardness testing, chemical composition analysis, and macro and micro observation were carried out to analyze the failure mode of a J55 oil tube. The results show that the failure mode of the J55 oil tube was stress corrosion fracture. The failure cause of the tube was analyzed based on analyzing the manufacturing process, service environment and working mechanism. Local abnormal microstructure near fracture surface is the main reason for the fracture. The local abnormal microstructure might be caused by contacting cold liquid during the process of rolling or burning near the tube.
